Is my AntiViurs scanning correctly?

I recently uninstalled McAfee AntiVirus and installed AT%26T Yahoo! Online Protection's AntiVirus. My computer runs fine. AntiVirus finishes scanning. But, in the log after the scan it states after each item: ''scan failed''. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Online Protection Suite. Are things safe?

It is recommended that you install only one Antivirus Software at a time as many a times 2 antivirus does not support each other and both dont work properly. I recomment you to Keep Mcaffee and for additional protection download Zone Alarm Firewall and not the whole Zone Alarm Security suite as it again consist of Zone Alarm Antivirus.

Try it .....Good Luck

try avast or avg antivirus they are both free.
Try doing your virus scans in safe mode, if you need instructions go here http://www.basicspywaretips.com/getridof...
whoa, i would NOT recommend the at%26t antivirus program. they are not good at detecting. if you want good free antivirus programs, i recommend the AOL active virus shield.
When un-installing Mcafee you may not have completely uninstalled it, this has been known to happen before you install or run any other anti virus I suggest you do this. Do a manual file search after deleting all in the control panel, you may even have to go to the site for further instructions if all else fails. Download ccleaner which is free and light on resources to clean up your registry keys. Good Luck!
what you need is some really good free anti-virus such as AVG get it here http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/lng/us/tpl...
go to download.com and get spybot search and destroy as wellas lavasofts adawear and see if they find some thing messing with your antivirus softwear.
