1. Setup System Restore to create automatically once a day a system restore Point when you start your computer.
2. Connect and Update your Antivirus and scan your computer in the background.
3. Surf the net, Download anything useful, Go to Yahoo Q/A to pass the time.Just do what you want.But install only
downloaded program compatible with Vista.
4. When its time to lunch or dinner close all programs, disconnect, defrag your computer with Auslogic defrag its faster than Windows defragment.
5. Then get back after if you wish to continue surfing, If you're tired then its time to use CCleaner before you shutdown.
6. finally don't shutdown immediately, restart computer to see if there is a problem, If everything gone smoothly on start then shut it down,
If not restore at your restore point done at start and your computer will be as fresh when you started it.
7. Do this routine and you'll never say that Vista only give problems. Vista works fine and secured than XP.

Yeah - and you really had to do all of that with XP as a matter of routine didn't you? What a great step forward by Microsoft.
I'm forced to use PCs at work and have to suffer their utter unreliability there - fortunately I'm not paying for it..
As a mac user at home I find the PC users problems funny in the extreme.
wont use vista, will stick with XP. i work at Intel and even there they wont use vista. that's telling me something.
I stick with Linux. None of the issues mentioned above really.
For me, Vista is painfully slow. I think even if it may require newer hardware, having the requirements so much more than XP is a mistake.
