Can i just leave a trojan on my comp?

I got the Trojan.Vundo virus shortly after i X'd out of a desktop ad ...and now i can't get rid of it. Tried looking on the internet on how to manually delete it. Can't. Tried Vundofix in safe mode and virtumundobegone as per instructions on their website and it didn't do a thing. Norton antivirus/Norton scan/Adaware can detect it but can't do anything about it unless i upgrade..and i'm 15!!!! I'm broke as heck !! My mom would be PO'd if she found out... Can i just leave it on my comp? Whats the worst it can do?

* ad-aware did find it initiallly and i clicked on delete..it "worked" and told me to restart, i did, but it came back.

try mcafee
go to norton tech support. in virus+risks click spyware.type vundo in search threats .click on trojan vundo-symantec.com,theres a removal tool to download
