running spyware scan and norton antivirus trying to print receipe from receipe dot com spazzed said problem detected sutting down restart in safe mode. restsrted in sfe mode logged off restarted normally said printer was deleting reinstalled printer will not recognize printer. how can i get to recognize printer?

Anyway, make sure you Deleted/Removed the old printer software by going thru the Control Panel. Then turn OFF the computer. Then re-boot and re-install a fresh Printer program with the latest driver.
HP's been around for a long time so it's compatable with everything.
