AVG free deleted important files!!!?

I installed AVG antivirus free edition on my Windows XP and ran a ful system scan.

The antivirus detected a lot of infected files and sent them to its virus vault.

Now when i restored these files they fail to open up!!

I think my comp. has gone useless!! please help!!

The infected files included winamp and other midia players, some 3ds max program files , setup and installer programs for many softwares and games, exe files of each and every game that was installed, some flv files and a lot of other kind of files...

please help

- every file it found was infected and it did what it was supposed to

- there is no such thing as FREE ,,take your choice

AVG is buggy, use AntiVir free instead
